guide for each.
Bring your rod and reel, because with Colorado's world class rivers
and streams, you might as well be fishing. The Centennial State
has more than 6,000 miles of streams and more than 2,000
lakes and reservoirs open to public fishing. Angling opportunities
abound with popular warm-water fare like walleye, largemouth and smallmouth
bass, catfish and bluegill. The high-country angler will find the
settings spectacular fish challenging. Common species include
cutthroat, brook, brown, lake and rainbow trout. Colorado's fishing
is a quality experience you won't soon forget. Rivers such as the
South Platte in Denver, the Arkansas in Pueblo and many urban ponds
and lakes can also offer excellent fishing and a chance to get away
from it all, even in the middle of the city.
