Bureau of Land Management Colorado BLM offers you a challenge
to discover the diversity of each of its recreation sites. It may
take a summer or two, but youšll learn a great deal about our state
and public lands, and maybe even a little bit of history.
Maximum length of stay at all sites is 14 days even though
amenities vary. Some sites charge a fee, while others are free; some
sites are open year round, some only for 6 months.

BLM allows camping within undeveloped areas also, which can
be one of the greatest recreational adventures on public lands. Undeveloped
area camping requires a little more planning and special care to keep
the area clean, prevent wildfires, and avoid other harmful surface
disturbances. You can obtain a land status map from BLM to help
with your adventure.
