Snowmass is best known as a family-friendly area with long,
groomed cruising runs. Snowmass is a snowboarders' heaven
with two half-pipes and acres of terrain park. Snowmass features
some of the best expert skiing and riding terrain in the country.
Editors Note: The Hanging Valley area - the closest
thing to the backcountry, without actually going out-of-bounds
- includes steeps, glades, cornices, cliffs and deep snow.
Snowmass really does have something for everyone, a great
place to take a group of people with varying experience!
